Mod Rewrite Help - Multiple Domains, Duplicate Content

I have a client that has a ton of domain names. Unfortunately they all are point to the same site and he has a serious duplicate content issue.

I am not an apache guy so I am having trouble figuring this out.

What kind of mod rewrite could I use to make domain2.com automatically change to domain1.com?

Also, what could I do to make domain.com rewrite to domain.com/index.html?

Domain similarities may only be part of the problem. Have you inserted titles into your programming that shows the differences of the pages? How about a file telling the bots what to look at as a priority on each page to demonstrate their differences?

Could be more than just the URL that is killing you.

Regarding your rewrite, there are several quality software packages under a $100 that work well. Depends on what platform you are running.
