Did Slurp get a name change? Anyone here use Urchin? I was told that on Urchin, Slurp doesn't come up with "Slurp", but says "Mozilla Compatible Agent" instead. Our site has been live since March 1st, and I see no signs from "Slurp". We do have about 700 pages indexed in Y, but I think that was due to use of the Y toolbar.

Here is a response I just received from Urchin in response to this thread

I checked into this with one of our engineers. He confirmed that Slurp ends up under the Mozilla Compatible Agent entry in the Robots by Hits Drilldown report. But you can still see Slurp entries - you just have to drill down into the Mozilla Compatible Agent entry.

rusty - thanks for the quick answer and relaying it to me. Imagine doing SEO since June, and not being able to find Y's bot, ya know? Thanks a bunch, and take care.

Just out of curiosity I went through Urchin and in about 4000 different Mozilla compatible agents I had slurp show up a few different times, anyone have any idea why they show the same user agent as different hits columns or what the difference is between the 2 listed below?

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Yahoo! Slurp; http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp)

Mozilla/5.0 (Slurp/si; slurp@inktomi.com; http://www.inktomi.com/slurp.html)

Inktomi is no more; the only remnant is the PI distribution network and when the crawler visits it might be detecting a remnant of Inktomi.

Thanks,
