Does anyone know of internet marketing conferences going on in New york any time soon? It doesn't specifically have to be SEO oriented. Perhaps a site that would give a list of such things. I know about the one in April featured on searchenginewatch.com .

As Suhrud mentioned, SES New York (http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/sew/ny07/index.html) is the big conference in that area. It's run by the owners of this forum.
