Affiliates and keywords

Is there a way to find new affiliates for my site that are good for certain keywords I have found are valuable for my site.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Are you inquiring into how to locate affiliates that are ranking highly for competitive keywords which you're not necessary performing well on currently?

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have an affiliate that is linking to you using an intermediary Affiliate Broker like (Shareasale), the link to your site isn't attributed to you b/c their link is a redirect from the Affiliate Broker to your site..?

Therefore even if an affliate links to you using your preferred keywords it doesn't matter b/c it doesn't count as an inbound link to you.

You're probably better off purchasing text links (or other link building methods) if you are looking to generate link equity.

Affiliates should only be used for direct sales. IMHO

I am not trying to build backlinks by finding new products by keywords. Most affiliate programs require you to joking them before you know what they sell. Since I want similar products to help create a theme doing things that way takes forever so I want to be able to find programs that sell products at least with in my sites theme by typing in keywords. Not necessarily keywords I use on my site but something that will find affiliate programs that I night want to sell. For example I sell web sites and web site tools and ebooks about thiese subjects so I might type web site ebooks or web site tools to find a program I might use.
