Hi,

I have a number of PPC accounts across different engines and I am looking for some kind of tool that will automatically notify me of changes in my desired position.

Have used some of the bid management tools out there and while some will send you status updates if a KW is failing to meet the rule you have set it, they won't inform you as soon as something changes in the bid landscape.

Really want something that will notify me by email as soon as my position changes for my top priority KWs, say if some comes in and outbids me, so I can react immediately if my bids (or bid rules) need updating.

Is there anything out there that monitors KW position across engines that notifies you as soon as something changes.

Any advice links to tools would be appreciated.

Just not sure if this is really something that can be covered by a bid management tool, site analytics solution or something else..

Cheers

Hi stomotoes,

I saw your post (much) earlier today and was waiting to see if anyone else would reply...

I also am curious if there is such a tool - one that is actually good... but I'm afraid there aren't any.

I think the problem is that the providers (the search engines) themselves keep changing the rules so often that none of the solution providers can adequately keep up or provide tools that they can stand behind as being worth using.

I, also, have tried a few (beta) products, but those I've tested aren't up to the task. I don't blame the provider of those tools, but I blame the search engines themselves for trying to charge fees for access to MY advertiser data as well as for ever changing their services so that the solution provider can't reasonably develop a solution to match my/our needs.

I'd be thrilled to learn of a solution to this problem, but I'm not hopeful that one is forthcoming. Please let us know if you find one that is at all useful.

Thanks!
