Very sad news, death Jerry Bussewitz, Anne Kennedy's husband, has died.
Many people know Anne of Beyond Ink from search conferences, and Jerry was often with her. He was a kind and friendly man universally loved by all who met him.
Alex Bennert from Beyond Ink passed along information below about Jerry's death and how to send a donation in lieu of flowers:
JERRY BUSSEWITZ
Avid cyclist and musician
SOUTH PORTLAND—Gerald Lee “Jerry” “Buzz” Bussewitz, 53, of South Portland, passed away at home of an apparent heart attack in the early hours of Saturday, December 2, 2006.
He was born to G. Walter and Marjorie Vaness Bussewitz on August 15, 1953, in Valley Stream, New York. He attended Eastern Military Academy and Cushing Academy and was graduated from North Yarmouth Academy in 1972. A singularly kind and generous man, Jerry was a gifted and passionate musician, singer and actor. He touched everyone in his life deeply. His easy manner and tremendous capacity for love struck everyone as unique. He was quick to laugh and quick to song, and found his greatest happiness when spending time with his family and his many, many friends.
Jerry was a member of Woodfords Congregational Church and belonged to the Chancel Choir, the Council of Ministries and the a cappella group maineblend. He served as chair of the Music and Arts Committee.
At the time of his death, Jerry was an admired and respected customer service representative at Aetna Disability, valued alike by his co-workers and those he helped.
