As the holiday season is well upon us here in the US, (my neighbors have single-handedly increased energy consumption in this town by 3 or 4% with their outdoor lights) I thought it may be nice to share some websites that offer an extra incentive to shop during the holidays. The incentive needs to be Charity-related. So please everyone if you know of an ecommerce site or another site that is operating such a campaign, please share it here. One link is OK...hey it's Christmas right? ;) But please be advised that if it gets out of hand we'll have to close the thread. Let's see some of the great giving ideas out there!
My submission is kind of close to my heart since I served in the USMC. SEW member Phantom contacted me and asked about if he could post this. His directory, Seekzap, is offering to donate 50% of all directory submission fees to the Marine Toys for Tots campaign. See the details here (http://www.seekzap.com/blog/?p=19). By the way this does not imply and endorsement for the directory, just for their sense of giving which I feel deserves praise.
