Does anyone know when SES China will be? I've sent off a few emails but they seem to have disappeared into cyberspace. Since many of my contact emails still have the old Jupiter Media domains, I'm not surprised.
I'm in the process of trying to set up the China Search Marketing Tour 2007 (http://www.chinasearchmarketingtour.com/), but of course that's based on the timing and location of SES China.
We have a lot of people who have shown interest, and we are trying to schedule trips to the China research facilities for Microsoft, Google and Yahoo - but, once again, we need dates in order to actually set up the meetings.
I've checked on the web:
http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/
http://www.isas.cn/en/
...but there is no indication of the conference being held yet. Does anyone know? Chris, Tim? Danny? Inway?
I'll do what I can to promote the event and help out, but I'm already being contacted by various clients and governments about speaking engagements around that time, so it would be great to be able to start planning ahead. (as a personal favour, if we could make sure it doesn't overlap with SES NY or Toronto, I'd REALLY appreciate it!)
Based on the feedback I received last year on the conference, the main 2reasons many people could not attend was A) too close to SES NY, and B) not enough lead time to plan and book the trip. They wanted to, but it was a scheduling issue.
Cheers,
Ian
