... so hurry up and get your flight and hotel booked or approved by your boss - now! I know it's not until February and there's Paris and Chicago beforehand, but come on guys, it's London Baby!
Who's going, and have you planned any sightseeing or non-ses excursion while you're over?

We will have you all speaking like us start by saying "you muppet" to everyone you meet.LOL, a little off topic, but a good point. Some of the phrases you may hear me say at SES/LondonSEO include:
Have It My Son/Go On My Son - Sign of encouragement
Back Of The Net - Expression of Success
Bit Of Bully - Play Darts or the pub quiz machine
Give You A Slap In A Minute - You're quite a cheeky person aren't you
Brew? - Would You Like Another Refreshment?
The Old - Symbol Of Ownership i.e. "Get The Old Phone Out" or "Go Down The Old Kebab Shop"
Did You Get A Free House With That? - That sounds quite expensive
:D
Anyway.... back on topic. ;)

Why schedule a conference over Valentines day? And the Docklands? What's there to do out there? So far away from Central London.
Its also a week after Ad:Tech Sydney which I think will be very interesting.
I believe I'm going to sit this one out.

It is a little strange to hold a conference on Valentines Day, although I suppose it allows people to leave work (and the conference) early to get back to their love ones.
As for the Docklands, there are a selection of pubs/restaurants/shops in Canary Wharf and it's also just a few minutes away from trendy Greenwich (http://www.greenwich-guide.org.uk/greenwich.htm) which has a variety of museums and attractions (http://tinyurl.com/yjz6hj). I've heard that there's a Microbrewery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microbrewery) next to Greenwich Park as well, which lets you buy a small keg of beer to take into the park (with Global Warming, February may be hot in London, you never know these days). The Tower of London (http://www.historicroyalpalaces.org/webcode/tower_home.asp) is also easily accessible via the DLR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docklands_Light_Railway) which is also in close proximity to St Katherine's Dock (http://www.waterscape.com/eatingdrinkingguide/London/St%20Katherine's%20Dock) - home to Dickens Inn (http://www.dickensinn.co.uk/).
Granted, you'd have a much better time in the Docklands at summer time, although there's certainly a lot more going on then you'd first think. The DLR and Jubilee Tube line also make everything in London just a few minutes away.

LOL, OK Rob, I'm officially passing over my party coordinator hat and responsibilities over to you for this one! The pay isn't much (Danny flipped me a pound at last year's London SES to make my coordination responsibilities 'official' - lol) but the chance to be have this audacious undertaking as all yours for this conference outweighs the pay!
