I have heard of the basic requirements needed to get a site indexed, and indexed for search terms in particular.

How many page total?
What are the minimum # of pages per each search-term throughout?
Links occurring how many times?

these types of ideas depend upon competition.

you only need one page and something that gets it indexed for a super uncompetitive term.

as you increase competition you need more links, etc.
