Are 1000 visitors who visit your page a 100 times as good as 100.000 different visitors? Both means a traffic of 100.000, however I was wondering if the probability of a visitor clicking on an ad/ buying something from your shop or an affiliate program decreases with every time they come to your site or if it stays around the same? Is a first-time visitor as likely to convert as a 10th time visitor? I assume for buying something from your own online shop people who come back time and again are better (as already registered, familiarity with your shop, lower threshold to buy etc.), but how about ads?
Wondering if I create a site and keep it updated to keep people coming back really increases conversions (in a consumerate way) or are people not interested in the ads anymore, as they've clicked on them before anyways and just want to get the updates from your site?
