SES London 07 Moved from May to February?

Last time I checked, SES London 07 was scheduled for Whit Week in May (school half term, as usual) at the Business Design Centre in Islington. I think Incisive were even selling stand space for that week at this year's show.

Looking today, I see the event has been shifted to Feb 13-15, 2007 (http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/sew/london07/index.html). Yet again school half term week! However, that's the peak skiing week for British parents with school-age kids. I'll certainly be off skiing so won't be at SES London next year. :(

The event has also shifted from the Business Design Centre to ExCel. However, this page (http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/sew/london07/accommodations.html) is still recommending booking the Hilton, which is miles away from ExCel!

When did this change happen? Maybe you ought to let a few more people know. February is not too far away.

Yes, the event has been officially moved -

However, I'm sorry it falls into a holiday week for UK families.

I personally was thinking about doing a little skiing before or after the event myself. for that reason, I was thinking it was great that it was in February as opposed to June. :)

I will report the issues with the hotel/site info though immediately.

You know the sad thing (in more ways than one!) ... I've just worked out that this is the first SES London I'll ever have missed. I was there at the very first one in 2000.

Not only was I there, I was an exhibitor. One of about four companies, I believe. And the food was excellent! How times have changed. :D

I missed the syndk8 bash and will probably miss Pubcon, so this one better be a biggy - bigger then San Jose.
