A feature which Google didn't include in it's announcement but has come into place is - Your Users can now right-click on the ad to have an option to open the Ad in a New Window. Yes , Its working on our site!
This certainly is a Dream Feature for any Publisher. You don't want to disappoint the visitors who want to click the ad but not leave the page.
I am not sure if this feature is in Testing or has been finalized. But , one thing I am sure of - Google Listens to its customers. I had suggested this feature to AdSense Rep on this forum only!
WooHoo......
Can some one confirm if they are also seeing this feature on their site ?

uh  ?
Well, this feature has been there for a very long time ! And it has nothing to do with Google : if you right click on a "genuine" link, you are given this option.

Additionally, we understand the importance of maintaining the quality of
your site and your site's user experience. However, at this time we do not
have an option to open Google ads in a new browser window or allow any
other option where a click on the ads does not bring the user to the
advertiser's site. Please do not modify the AdSense ad code or alter the
result of clicking on an ad on your website, as this is against our
program policies.
There is nothing new under the sun...
