That's what this article says!

FT.com has partnered with Revenue Science to launch advanced behavioural targeting for online advertisers, becoming the first non-US website to do so.

Behavioural targeting tracks online users to identify which areas of the site they visit. As users move around the site, usage and profile data are compiled to create distinct user groups.

FT.com says these groups enable advertisers to reach audience segments which match their targets more closely.

Hasn't Tradedoubler been running Lemonbox (http://www.tradedoubler.co.uk/pan/public/about/news/030416) accross dozens of UK sites since 2003? That's just the first example spring to mind. Poor FT.com, you wouldn't think one so savvy would end up wearing the Emperors' Clothes.
