Ok .... I see no replies yet and I have few minutes. Let's do this.

1. When I start my campaign is it better to start with 100/200 Keywords?

ANSWER: Start with 100. (even though this also depends on your industry and budget). If you are new than having less keywords will be easier for you to work with at the beginning.

2. I ran my campaign for three days with two varient text ads one which has been pasted below. there were 119 clicks but only one person clicked on the ad how can I make this increase with more free registers to this forum site eldersandbetters.com

ANSWER: Look at who else advertises under that keyword. Make your ad stand out from the rest. Say something unique. EX: Over 10,000 Boomers Chatting ..... something like that.

3. there were alot of keywords which didn't get any clicks should I delete them?

ANSWER: It depends how long you ran them for. 3 days is not enough. No clicks doesn't mean you lose money. I'd keep them for at least 2 weeks.

4. The keywords that got one click shall I delete them?

ANSWER: Why would you? Make the ads better.

5. When you the "professionals" start a new google ad do you start on low cpc intially?

ANSWER: That would be a good idea for you. Start low and then gradually increase. Make sure you monitor the effect of this change.

6. do you folks use any tracking tool to track where the clicks are coming from? if so can you recommend something?

ANSWER: There are many different tools out there. ClickTracks, Indextools, etc. I use Indextools and Google Analytics (free).

7. I used alot of pharse, exact and broad keywords is that recommended?

ANSWER: Depends on your industry and competition. Use "exact match" for popular keywords in order to get a better position for less $$$. Be sure to use "Keyword exclusion" feature from Google to get rid of clicks generated by irrelevant search.

8. I did some research on the Overture to find the the best bidding price so I set all my keywords broad, exact, and phases as 50p a click, have I done something stupid?

ANSWER: You should not tackle PPC with a "across the board" mind set. Your CPC should be different for each keyword and each match type based on the current cost per click for that specific keyword.

9. I have been using a book called "the definitve Guide to Google Adwords" is this book good or is there another people can recommend?

ANSWER: Don't know.

10. below is a list of my keywords, is there anything wrong with this?

ANSWER: Need more time to research.

Good luck.
