Hi there,

I'm experiencing a specific problem with linking my Google PPC campaigns and analytics. To start with it does seem to take a few days for the information to get into the analytics reports but i'm not going to start moaning about what i reckon is an excellent bit of free kit!!

When my ppc information does go into google analytics i don't seem to have any information on any goals that have been achieved via ppc. If I go into "Search Engine Marketing" and then "Adwords Analysis", there is no information relating to Conversion Rate (or CR as they put it!). There is the RPC (Revenue per click) and ROI (return on investment) but i don't have any revenue attached to my goals (my goals aren't related to direct online sales).

So the bottom line is i'm paying for keywords, i know how many page views and clicks i'm getting but i don't know how many (if any) goals are being reached??

I'm sure it'll be something simple (no jokes please :D )

Cheers,

Tony

Do you have e-commerce Web site set to YES in Google Analytics, Analytics Settings, Profile settings? Did you configure the additional revenue parameters in the tracking code used on the page buyers see AFTER they complete a transaction?

The process and parameters required are explained in the Google help file titled "How do I track e-commerce transactions" at http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=27203&query=parameters&topic=&type=
