During the Feedster relaunch in August the company announced that they would begin placing ads in RSS feeds.

We've learned that the ads should begin appearing very soon, likely today.

Ads will be provided by Kanoodle.

Very cool. Wonder how they will lay it out.

i think that so long as they follow the old text based newsletter approach of tastefully bordering and labelling the advertisements then there shouldnt be a problem.

Let the publisher choose the frequency (every 1 post, 5 post, etc) and there you go.

As a reader I generally pass over the Ads in newsletter mainly becuase they are off topic and generally have something to do with releiving me of all my debt. If they can create a system that puts relevant ads into the feed then it will be a success. However if my feed is flooded with crap I will drop the ads as a publisher or drop the feed as a subscriber.
