There is some good evidence that G operates a stop word filter system. Which in it's simplest terms means G won't show adverts on your site if it thinks your content is suspect in either Taste, Ethics or Language
Whilst the first two can be subjective the latter is fairly easy to define as far as language is concerned. We are talking profanity, four letter words etc...
Some ideas to get the ads back....
Language
Remove the offensive language from your site which might even include renaming files.
Taste and Ethics
There are certain topics and themes that whilst not neccessarily offensive in nature G seems not to want to show ads for. So don't expect to get ads if your site includes text content on any of the following themes.
Death and anything associated with it.
Drugs whether legal or not.
Medical problems, ethics.
Sex, Porn etc...
Terrorism Bombs
Gambling, Betting
How does the filter work ?
Well pure speculation of course but...
Maybe Each stop word has a weight and when multiplied by the frequency produces a score, if the score is too high, you get PSAs.
Even if you have no stop words on a given page other pages on the same domain may receive a bad score which is so high, that only PSAs are given for all pages on the domain.
There is a possibility that the filter does remain in force even if you "Fix" the page or pages in question. If this appears to be the case then after removal of the stop words and themes one must also rename the file.
Other ways round it ?
If you simply must have certain words on your pages then make an image of them, gifs can't be read by the filter !
