4 page site rest password protected...sitemap needed?

So the site I'm working for has 4 pages that can be spidered, rest is password protected.

Is there any point in creating a sitemap? My understanding is the only reason you have a sitemap is for largers sites where it's sometime hard for google to spider.

It certainely doesn't hurt and is good practice to do so anyhow. If they add more pages in future, at least these will go into a sitemap instead of them forgetting to create one. You may want to stick up some free content pages for the engines and users alike though.
