Anyone one else getting strange results from an Url search?
I'm getting just the links, no related pages, no contains the term, no pages from the site...

Right, seems we now have to use info:www...
yes google is not able to give result for URL search.. its only giving list of link or the sites where the search URL is listed

Hello
If anyone could through some light on this for me it would most appreciated.
Until a fews days my site www.storacingproducts.com was number 1 for the search term "rc cars" on google.com and google.co.uk.
But just in the last couple of days the site lost it place on Google UK but still remains on google.com at number 1 position for the mentioned keyword.
This has happened before but only lasted 24 hours or so then returned to originsl search results.
Needless ton say i am getting a bit worried..
Oh by the way the site is UK site.
Help!!

I've noticed that a search for a domain name on google.co.uk now takes you to the Google SERPs rather than directly to that website. I have just tried searching for www.google.com, www.ebay.com and www.amazon.com and they all do the same thing.

I should have made it clearer, all the old url information is now available on an info:www.yoursite.com search...

Do you think these UK search results are perm? Or just a on going update?
Look at this Google global search results
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=rc+cars&meta=
You notice our site number 1
but when searching UK only You get this
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=rc+cars&btnG=Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB
Totally different results. We was number 1 position for 3 years for this search terms "rc Cars" on global and UK serach.

yes there is a strange changes i can see in Google.co.uk as my site which was ranking in Top 10 suddenly appears on 30's now on google.co.uk global and it doesn’t even shows up for Uk search results..

Just notice somthing if you are located in the UK
Tap www.google.com into your browser, you will notice it automatically diverts to www.google.co.uk. Must br diverting on the info based on your IP location?
Has it always done this??

Look here search this domain www.storacingproducts.com on www.google.co.uk it comes no 1 yes??
Search the same but but select "Pages from the UK" Then it no where to be seen only sub domains! or internal pages from the site :confused: :confused:
