Sorry to both you all again but ....

I friend has asked me to look into conversion tracking for his restaurant. The problem is that his site isn't the end of a transaction.

He has a form you fill out to see if a table is free. Upon submission the form sends the data to a completely different site which he doesn't own that handles the online booking etc.

Is there anyway to make a standard html page work so that when the form is submitted it fires the google conversion tracking script then does the whole redirect bit. I remember doing it along time ago on an asp page using asp:placeholder and runat but can't figure this one out.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as always.

Best regards

Malcolm.

You can have a conversion element worked into the submit button - it fires and send s info to the one place and at the same time is recognised by your tracking as a lead creation..... when you get the email confirming the reservation you can convert the lead to a conversion... the beauty of the lead capture is two fold as you can then add them to a mailing list and offer direct coupons to draw people to come in - while also seeing how many actual submits convert to comfirmed reservations.
