Hi

We have come across a web design and hosting company (they do not specialise in SEO) that say they will optimise a recruitment agencies web site for £35 ($66 us) per month. They say they will optimise the site for 15 main keywords. There is no mention of ongoing link building work.

They have done some work for this client before securing first page results in Google/ MSN/ Yahoo for relevant but low volume of search key phrases.

This price seems very very cheap when SEO is so time consuming.

Any thoughts?

Thanks guys

If they have track record of the successful SEO projects they were able to accomplish, then that should be a bargain.

Be careful with "low-volume" search phrases though, you might end up on first page for phrases nobody is using.

I'm guessing for that kind of money it'll be 'on-page' work only which would explain the success for low volume search phrases. For anything competitive it would be almost impossable to conduct any link building with a budget like that.
