Hi
I am about to get an SEO company to build 100 reciprocal links for my website. Apart from being themed and relevant (and not from link farms etc) I have insisted that they be minimum PR2 after being told that anything below that is worthless, but the SEO company have said that links with PR 0 and 1 also carry weight with Google, MSN and Yahoo and are important for inmproved rankings.

Can anyone shed any light on this please!?

Many thanks
Andy

Well, PR is not everything, domain with PR0 can be PR5 after next update, domain with PR6 can be banned tommarow. There are more important factor like traffic from site, site content...

Yes sites with PR0/PR1 can help. If a site was on-topic I'd be happy to get a link from these sites. With trusting someone else to do this for you I'd stipulate that any pages that your link is on have to indexed by the search engines at the very least.

100 reciprocal links for my websiteYou'll have to watch out who you're linking out to if it's recips. That's what'll get you if it's dodgy.

Hi surfandyb - you will have to let us know how this service goes for you.

Is there any reason why you are going for 100 reciprocal links? Why not get 10 quality inbound links and manually. This will have more weight imo.

You will have to keep an eye on what recip's you are getting. :)
