I have just been warned by a so-called "seo expert" that my links page is "black hat seo" and will eventually get me banned by the search engines.

Can anyone look at my link page: http://www.IntesiResources.com/cd_37.aspx and tell me if this is valid or not. I have worked hard to get my ranking consistently in the Top 10 and would hate to have this hurt me.

I am just recovering no from a big drop with Google in February from BigDaddy.

Thanks in advance for any help! :o

I am very doubtful that, that page would get you banend, but I doubt it would help you get any rankings or provide any benefit for the sites you link too, or your users. Less links on the page makes it easier to use for those visiting your page (spiders and users alike.)

Links pages are "old" hat SEO, but black hat? Naw. There is just not much benefit to them, either to search engines or visitors.

I guess that's where some createive marketing comes into play. But throwing a bunch of crap (links) against a wall (page) isn't as useful as it once was. If a "links page" serves your audience, than by all means keep doing it. Most don't, and the search engines know this.
