Question for all of you. In the past two months I have noticed several local retailers have started to compete with us (an online-only national retailer) on some of our top keywords - using local targeting. They are causing my CPC to go up. Fortunately for us there aren't thousands of retail locations to buy what we sell. However, if local stores all over the country begin competing with us our CPO will rise nationally. Are any of you noticing the same trend? What do you expect will happen to your CPO's with this relatively new source of competition for your keywords? I'd be interested to hear any thoughts about this.
