How long does it take for the cart icon to begin displaying in my AdWords ads? We implemented Google Checkout today and already have setup our Checkout account with our Google account id. I would also like to know if anyone has experience with this?

by around the end of the day after our first google driven checkout the accounts became active to diplay the icons. searches w/ our keywords then began to display the cart icon. in our case from the time we added the checkout to getting icons was about 6 hours.

Now the questions:

Have you seen an increase in your CTR?

Have you seen an increase in your conversions from PPC.

Have you noticed any price increase in your clicks since adding it?

See my other post regarding some of the ad performance regarding the cart icons and ad groups. http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=12865

1. CTR spiked on friday when we launched. I am using scheduling so the weekends get a little lull in action.

2. Unfortunately right now Adwords & Analytics don't have a good report to view that can compare conversions of ads w/ cart icons. From what I see its taken a drop in conversion rate for the last 4 days versus this month to date.

3. Haven't jumped into this analysis yet. A big part is that we launched about 800 new keywords (30% increase in campaign size). These are all keywords we have no history on, and are very competitive in our market. We also increased our campaign budget about 15%.

Just a little background-
We are using Efficient Frontier to run our AdWords campaign with their Express Product. They automate the bidding process and track conversions to specific objectives. With the increase in budget, increase in keywords, and the launch of Google Checkout- I have a lot of variables that may be somewhat difficult to track. :(

Good to see you are well aware of the tracking and am sure you will eventually be drilling down deeper.
