Junior SEM/SEO Specialist

Description:
We are currently seeking a full-time Jr. SEO/SEM Specialist. This position includes the following responsibilities:
SEO
Generate keyword analysis reports displaying estimates on traffic volume for related keywords.
Generate organic ranking, inbound linking, and traffic received reports for all SEO clients.
Generate sales & leads from organic search reports from analytic tools.
Continually search for new directories that could be useful places to submit client sites to in order to build relevant link weight.
Maintain accurate, current knowledge of the organic search industry and any changes in search engine algorithms.
Research new media technology for possibilities to provide clients with other revenue-generating avenues.
Work with partners to analyze and optimize deals against specific marketing metrics adding, modifying, and removing placements as necessary
Continually monitor, test, revise, and update placements within existing deals
On an ongoing basis, run multiple reports from both internal tracking tools and partners external reporting tools, and aggregate data in a useful format. Report on findings.
Provide strategic thinking in regards to measuring, analyzing and reporting on campaign performance
SEM
Monitor and maintain Search Engine Marketing campaign for clients across multiple networks.
Closely monitor client budgets and provide detailed reports to show actual/accurate costs associated with monthly traffic in reporting
Manage clients reporting templates and perform reports as assigned.
Work with other team members by spot trends and make recommendation for campaign optimization
Work with media reps to ensure contract terms are met (start/end dates, budget etc.)
Provide a supporting role to the media department search team.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 months experience with Organic Search Engine Optimization REQUIRED
A minimum of 6 months experience with Pay-Per-Click Search Engine Marketing (Google AdWords, Yahoo Search / Overture) REQUIRED
Demonstrable base level understanding of web design and HTML as it pertains to SEO
General knowledge of website traffic analytics software (Webtrends, HitBox, Google Analytics, Coremetrics)
Knowledgeable about natural search tactics and how web metrics are tracked (http headers, redirect, tracking pixels, etc.)
Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel with experience in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of advance functions of Excel (Pivot Tables, Sorting, Filters, Forums, etc.)
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail
Independent worker and self-starter
