Hi everyone.

I have 23 different car hire/car rental websites which offer car hire/car rental in different locations. The domain names are specific to the location of hire and each site has different but similiar content. One page which we have on all of our sites, which is clearly visable from the home page, is called Our Sites. This lists all 23 of our websites with the soul purpose to help/show people where we can offer car hire, each entry is described differently. I've shown an example below.

Two questions .... how will this linking effect me within the Search Engines? Is there a better way of linking?

Example Entry

ABCcarhire.com
Providing car hire in ABC, which includes ABC towns, cities, airports.

You can do that provided:

All your 23 sites reside on different servers with different IPs

Then if the content are similar rewrite them to make them look unique by replacing synonyms.

Dilip

Unfortunately all the sites are on the same server with the same IP address. If I was to reduce the reference links under 'Our Sites' what would I need to reduce it by so not to look bad? Is there an approximate figure?

Thank you for the idea about using synonyms, I'll start to look into that to see what I can do.

I also run around 10 sites. They are all on the same server tho there are about 4 different ips I believe. But listing your other sites to me is a benefit for your visitors.

It is a benefit for my visitors .. however I have now taken the safe option and broken them down into three completely seperate groups (8+8+7) which are not linked in anyway .... hope this will be ok ???

It'll certainly be safer.....
