I know PR is old news and that I'm wasting my time but....

In the Crawl Stats section of Google Sitemaps they have PR distribution stats. All my sites (PR5-PR6) show that most of the pages in the site have low PR. These sites have over 100k pages, so that would make sense. Our home page is PR6, second level PR5, third PR4, etc... So the top 20-50 pages have PR4-PR6 and the other 99,950k pages are PR3-PR0.

My question is: what the heck does this "tool" help with? I can see if you have a 10-20 page site and your distribution is low you'd probably want to work on the internal structure, but for big sites it doesn't really make any sense.

Anyone find it useful?
