Google ageing

My site is a year old next month. I add regular content and links onsite is very SE friendly. It is read daily by google has plenty of pos.1's in msn and a few in Yahoo. Google currently holds me around pos.20-40 for most key phrases. Should I expect any nice suprises from Google for my birthday?

Nah you need links that aren't from SEO forums.. I can't see any reason of google to trust your site yet.

Hi Dave if you check through msn you will see I am pushing 450 links most of which google sees but chooses not to show when you link:ww.... I must have some credibility as they gave me PR3 at my first update and have added some PR7 links since then. Links are the hardest part though, not paid for, not reciprocal. There are only so many articles you post and forums you can partake in.
