There used to be a thread that had people's suggestions about how to improve Adwords. I can't seem to find it, so I guess I'll just start another one.

--------------------------------------------

It would be very helpful if Adwords had the ability to exclude dates in a range either by the actual date or the day of the week. For example, I would like to look at my campaigns performance since the beginning of my campaign for only Sundays. Or on Saturday and Sunday, or whatever.

Ideally it would be great if you could create custom filters, but a more extensive list of preset filters would be good too.

Thanks again!

Average position column on Campaign Summary

Exhausted budget tracking.. "Your budget ran out at 8:41 PM last night"

and a long shot..

Broad match tracking.. "This broad match keyword was displayed for the following searches this week:"

How about reporting the actual # of conversions?

Also, as another thread points out... provide us with conversion rate by ad. Google could do this easily but its doubtful they will because they would rather us advertisers just base our "ad performance" on CTR (which makes Google more money) rather than the actual conversion performance of ads.

Not only would I like to be able to pick dates, but I'd like to be able to specific time of day as well.

I can clearly see that my CPM campaigns are wasted impressions during some periods of the day, but able to be productive at others. This is probably due to work vs relaxation and whether the ad provides something useful to their current mode of effort or not.

Anyway, same idea as the OP but finer grained.

Maybe you can do this already but I have yet to figure out how to do it.

The ability to set the Ad Rotation preferance on the Ad Group level. The Campaign level Ad Rotation peferance would act as the default behavior of all Ad Groups within that campaign unless a different perferance was defined at the Ad Group level.

provide us with conversion rate by ad.

Which Google has just recently added as a feature of AdWords! Yay!

The ability to see CTR of each ad for individual keywords inside of an adgroup... this would be a huge help

I've mentioned this before. But, it would save lots of time if AdWords would display value/cost in the normal displays. That is the only thing that I really care about. How much did I spend for each conversion? And, on average, how much did I make on each conversion. Right now I have to create a report, copy and paste it somewhere... in order to have that information handy when adjusting bids. Having this information available when adjusting bids only seems natural to me.
