Hi all,
I have been sucsessfully utilizing SEO and submission services from a frim sitescreamer www.sitecreamer.com for about the past three years.
With the help of their services, we have been able to sucsessfuly maintain relatively high search rankings on most of the major engines.
We recently paid our annual subscription price to them and are now getting screwed. They are no longer responding to our questions and there phone lines have been disconnected.
Does anyone know the fate of sitescreamer? Also we are searching for a replacement service to help us with submissions, inclusions and some optimization advice, so any recommondations would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Reminds me of a mail order computer I bought many moons ago. Same thing happened, Parents got a computer so I ordered one. They took my money and shortly after phones were not answered. I never go my machine.
There are a lot of good optimization companies out there, just be sure to research so you know you are getting exactly what you need.

Looks like the site is dead.
But Oxbow, you don't need any company to help you with submissions and inclusions. The search engines do that for you all for FREE, without you having to do anything.
Was that previous company actually changing anything on your page and uploading it to your server? If not, then you should be fine just doing what you have always been doing...nothing!
Please don't pay a company just to submit your pages on your behalf.

You're safe unless you link to the doorway pages. No 3rd party site can hurt you otherwise I could spam people out of my way to the top. The only way a doorway or bad neighborhood can hurt you is if you link into them and are part of their little community.
That's how all the traffic power clients got screwed. They linked to their doorways. Freaking SEO noobs.

True, but I personally would stay very far away from any company doing such tactics, benefit or no.

Well, of course - better to keep away from things you do not understand. :)
I'm not programmer enough to feel confident at using cloaking effectively - therefore I don't use it.
Plenty of other specialities to work with in SEM, though. :)

I was thinking more along the lines of staying away from spammy companies. I think I understand it well enough.

Point I was making is if they are up there don't worry about them unless you link to them. ;)
any turnkey company that just assembly lines their seo clients is ify, and I agree I would stay away from them.
