I keep checking the my stats (both statcounter.com and server stats) on the hits that come in from google adwords.

Approx 80-90% of the visits are recorded as staying at the landing page for 0 seconds, yet i am billed for the click. Now I have seen people recorded at staying for 3 seconds, but 0? Thats ludicris

Why does this happen? Also, Javascript is enabled on their browsers, and they are running the same version of IE with the same resolution as mine, so i know it isnt trouble actually "seeing" the page.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Matt

also, it is my assumption that they are "content matches"

Cheaters?

0 seconds is a good one..... try turning off content and see if things improve.

they have to be there for some time.... if you had Google Analytics running I wonder if they would charge you?
Though I am not recommending you try that....

Any recommendations to better track visitors from google? I just dont understand this 0 second thing... All of the keywords used to get to the page are 110% relevant to the landing page...

STRANGE

Do you have content set? If so try turning it off and seeing if the 0 seconds stops.
Content can appear on pages that get clicks but is also open to fraud. Do you have the ability to check the IP addresses of these visitors? Are they the same? Are they all coming from the same country etc?

We need a little more info to be able to understand your situation.

I turned off content set and it has seemed to stop... fraud hits... strange in my sector though

That's the whole point... "strange in my sector" - the click frauders try to get in and out... obviously hoping not to have someone awake at the wheel...
