Yahoo directory - when was the recurring annual fee introduced?

Does anyone know when the recurring annual fee of $299 was introduced for each directory listing?
If anyone knows I would be interesed to find out!

Hi Velodrome, and welcome to the forums.

The annual fee is only charged for sites submitted on or after December 28, 2001. If you got listed before this, congratulations! You've escaped the annual fee
