Everyone wanting to participate must have already placed their bids and are waiting for IPO release. So, let's play "look into the cristal ball" and guess the price for GOOG when it's finally out in the public's hands for first trade.
I have made the poll private and votes will not be linked to you in any way. Feel free to vote with confidence.
Goog luck!

Found out I cant participate with my brokerage house in IPOs because I don't have $500,000 sitting with them in cash. :( Anyone want to lend me some money? :D

The SEC did not approved the paperwork today. Tommorow's IPO is not a sure thing.

I agree with the prices but see the contraction happening in six months when the employees glut the market with their stock.

I agree there will be some major concers at that point. What I wonder is the effect all the instant miilionaires will have on G's work force? May be difficult to retain focus knowing in six months one can cash out. As an added concern those who are fully vested, what will their work habits be like? They have all hit the mini lottery!!!

My absolutely random GOOG opening price guess (made about 4 days ago): $94.37. ;)
from Google via email:
The offering price is now expected to be between $85 and $95 per share. Google expects to sell 14,142,135 shares of Class A common stock in the offering as originally filed. The selling shareholders are reducing the shares they expect to sell to approximately 5.5 million shares in view of this new price range. This is a reduction of approximately 6.1 million shares. In addition, the selling shareholders have granted the underwriters the right to purchase approximately 2.9 million additional shares of Class A common stock at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments.
Google and the underwriters requested that the Securities and Exchange
Commission declare the registration statement effective on Wednesday,

Wow if it comes out at $85 to $95 I am going to look like an Oracle... I expected it to take 6 months to float to that... hey I may even buy in at that price!!!
