Search Friendly URL Guidelines

I'm going to be putting together some URL guidelines for structuring search-friendly URLs.

Are there any good, all-inclusive search-friendly URL guidelines out there in existence that I can look at to get a jump start?

This includes:
1. URL canonicalization
2. Dynamic URL considerations
3. AJAX URLs
4. (Other?)
