Hi All,

I was browsing my logs and some some referrers that I never asked to be included on.

Now, normally this would not bother me, as a free link is as good as any link, right?

Well, these look like pretty sneaky pages. I can't see what purpose the page serves, but I am a bit worried it may actually hurt my rankings (not that I have any good ones yet, but who knows, maybe someday).

Can someone take a look at this page:
http://www.babynames1.info/cherokee-indian-baby-names.php#

This is the site I found my link on. It's just a ton of links that look like it was designed for some sort of sneaky seo.

All ideas are welcome.

Yes, most likely it's a page that's trying to fool the search engines. There are a lot of them out there and in most cases they end up getting banned by the search engines.

The better you rank in the search engine the more you'll get mentioned on this type of spam junque that continues to fill the search engine indexes.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I see the same things in my logs, refferrals from pages totally unrelated to my content, I have poker related content and the links or from domains with drugs in thier names like "getyour vigrahere com" and a bunch of other drugs that you get spammed a lot with. I look at the reffering page and there are not even links on it, so who knows.
