SES London May 31 - June 2 (http://www.jupiterevents.com/sew/london06/index.html) is about to be kicked off. Hotel will be at the Hilton Islington (near Angel station). I know of a number of newcomers to this conference and it sounds like its shaping up to be a good one.

Who's coming in and is anyone staying on past the conference? It would be fun to organize some events around this one.

Ok, I promise, I will actually make it to this international event this time;)

as far as visiting goes, I think I may be coming in early rather than staying late - not sure yet.

There is some sort of conspiracy going on here. I have yet to be able to make it to an SES London!

This one falls out the week after my wedding!

What do you have against me making it to London?

I did try to coordinate the honeymoon to take place in London, but as you can imagine....

Barry I cant imagine how you couldn't coordinate the two. I promise if you make it out to London, I'll cover the wedding sitting right up front with my laptop... ;)

Actually I can see Yisha making you honeymoon in a place that is completely unwired....hehe

I'll be heading over with a few from my team. Get in on Tuesday and heading to Northern Ireland Friday to Monday for a road tip along the coast.

Due to the vagaries of airline schedules and because it's springtime in London, I will be there a couple of extra days and am looking forward to doing something the day after the show, hopefully! Should I bring binoculars? :D

Looking forward to putting names to faces, our company has a stand as SES London so I'm sure I can wangle a few days off-site.

I'm up for any evening or post-expo meet-ups, I've moved into London so everything is a few minutes away now.

If you need some help planning a get-together, let me know what you like and I can pick-out some places. SEM and Guiness are my specialities ;)

Hi all,

This will be my first SEO event and am really looking forward to it.

Last night during Strikepoint on WebmasterRadio, in the chat room, DaveN was talking about some party on one of the nights being held by the LondonSEO crew or something. Does anyone know any details?

Bobo ;)

Yep.

http://londonseo. org/ (http://londonseo.org/)

COOL! Calling the SES official party coordinator!

When: Thursday, June 1 -
Time?
Address:

The Camden Head (http://www.fluidfoundation.com/venueDetails.asp?BarRef=1796)

2 Camden Walk
Camden Passage
London
N1 8DY
Tel: 0871-223-3759

The pub itself isn’t quite on the high street it’s tucked away, so from the Hilton cross over Upper Street (the main road) and walk left towards Islington Green then turn a quick right down Camden Walk and you’ll see it in front of you!

So, do we need to RSVP or anything? Just show a badge to get in?

Update on their site:

Time?

We aim to start drinking from about 6 or 7pm onwards

So, do we need to RSVP or anything? Just show a badge to get in?

To get the free drinks all night just bring along your SES pass or we might sort out some wrist bands or something.

Hi,

I am in the same boat as BoboTheCat, this will be my first attendance of a SES Function, and very much looking forward to it.

I am down for Thursday 1st of June and will be the only one attending from my company, can I just find The Camden Head after the show and join the party? :)

Cheers

Yep, just show up with your SES pass (expo hall only passes are ok too) to get a wristband for the free beer.

Looks like some great sessions, and I'm looking forward to putting some names with faces! I'll be in London from Tuesday through Monday morning... and beyond cool Webmaster stuff, I also plan to take in a musical or three and do some swing dancing.

Any other artsy-geeks out there?

Hello again, I posted a comment on your blog this morning! If you are going to see musicals, Mamma Mia and Les Miserables are not to be missed! Have fun!

I had a really good time in the pub. Talked to a lot of interesting people and now have a lot of new ideas to try ;)

Thank's to the organisers and to Party Gaming for supplying the drinks! :)

I do believe it will be Thomas who will be in lederhosen in San Jose. C'mon US. OK, c'mon England, if the US doesn't do it (I can wish, can't I?)

Lampard managed to score only 1% of his shots, so we won the final 460-0

1%? Thats far too high. He still wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now.

Great keynote btw danny.
