Hi guys,
We are currently having trouble listing as a UK page for Google and Yahoo!. Following some research I appreciate this subject has been "done to death" with the solution almost always being move servers to the UK and if possible have a .uk TLD.
We are trying to list as a UK page with a .info TLD and Canadian server location - a no-hoper I'm sure.
We want to try and avoid having to move servers.
Is there a way we can appear to be a UK page by having a sole server in the UK forwarding requests to Canada to appear as if it's UK based?
Naturally the last thing I want to do is to use black-hat tactics to trick a search engine as getting black listed would be devastating.
Can anyone make any recommendations?
Can this be solved with using UK based DNS?
