I submitted a bunch of keywords since I am building up my AdCenter account and some were rejected with the status- "too much ad text"
I was reading the msn help and it's somewhat unclear to me what is included as ad text. I know that ad text= keyword (whether its a parameter or not), and ad description (aka 'ad copy'). This includes all characters and spaces, but does it include the visible url? The visible url limit is 35 characters. I had some kw's rejected that I guess are too long, but I need to know what is the max # I'm allowed and what that consists of.
"Too much ad text:
The total number of characters, including spaces, exceeds one of the following limits:
The ad text, including parameter (A word, phrase, or other information that is inserted into the title, text, or URL of an ad at display time to customize it in response to a specific search query.) text (if used), exceeds 70 characters.
The URL (An Internet address (for example www.microsoft.com). From "Uniform Resource Locator.") exceeds 35 characters.
The destination URL (The Internet address of the webpage a user is actually taken to when clicking the ad link (the display URL) in MSN Search. The destination URL is not displayed in an ad. It may be not be the same as the display URL. ) exceeds 1022 characters."
