My little tool that combines Overture and Wordtracker keyword suggestions, just got a minor addition if anyone wants to try it out. Now it supports "markets" (basically specific countries). For example Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, etc.

Also, I ended up putting a image verification system on it... I know it's annoying, but automated scripts were hitting it about 100,000 times per day, so... (the image verification allows 50 queries per verification, so it's not too annoying).

Anyway, you can find it at:

Good job Shawn! Excellent addition for our industry. Not the image access code, rather the by market option. Still, thanks!

Great tool, Shawn.

Quick question. Are these the actual number of searches per day, or is there a multiplication factor?

It's being fed from Wordtracker and Overture (neither of which take into account Google). The Wordtracker data is straight as it comes (no multiplication), the Overture data is divided down a little bit so it generally matches Wordtracker. I was really sick of the 50 emails per day asking why the numbers were so different. In reality, when you take into account Google and everything else, the numbers are probably 50x higher.

It's more of a general reference than something that should be used for absolute numbers (which is impossible unless you knew about every search).

I think the domain name AmazingSEOTools.com is sitll available :)

you make some of the best stuff out there

other than your stuff and the stuff from http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/ there are maybe only a couple tools I would recommend people use

Thanks... :) It's because I only make tools that I actually want to use because there is nothing better out there. I don't make tools simply to drive traffic.

In fact, the biggest one (the keyword tracker) never was setup for "users" originally. It was an after-thought... "Hmmmm, I bet other people would like this." hehe

Thanks... :) It's because I only make tools that I actually want to use because there is nothing better out there.

Bambi Fransisco recently interviewed a member of the VC firm Sequoia Capital and he said that was the main distinction between things he was willing to invest in and things he is not.

I think that is the best trick to doing really well on the web.

Great Tool! :) Always nice to have another tool to use. I like the fact that it lists daily totals instead of monthly totals.
