This reminds me that Google missed an opportunity for a "once-every-seventeen years" logo. For the "seventeen-year cicadas (http://biology.clc.uc.edu/Fankhauser/Animals/Insects/2004_May_cicadas/Cicada_17_year.html)."

Another note to Google: in my neck of the woods, on my Dad's birthday every September 20, it's typically a warm day after a chilly spell. This is nearly always the day that a bunch of flying ants (I'm not sure what to call them, but they sure look like flying ants) hatch and buzz around. Maybe a flying-ant logo?

...which in turn reminds me of my time living in the US when the 17-year cicadas came out at the same time as the 14-year cicadas! (14*17=??? (http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=14%2A17)) I didn't sleep for days! I expect there may be a few Google lawyers (et al) going without some sleep as their IPO gets ever nearer!

I like the Olympic logos... but I am a huge Olympics fan.

Hey! You did a great job posting it! Thank you so much! I sign up in this forum because i want to reply to this thread so badly. First of all, im really grateful to you for posting all the google athens 2004 logo! I saw the first on the web few days back and i started collecting them. But the 2nd/3rd i accidentally overwrites the old one.. And when i saw the logos you posted, i knew i missed out alot. hehe.. But hey, i think you miss out one logo.. the one i overwrite.. Its a lady throwing a baby in the air. I wonder if i seen it wrongly because i ahve only seen in once.
