Hello. I have a brand new website that I am trying to market and thus, I have a lot to learn.
How do I verify that the Google spider can actually see all of my pages. I used a couple of free site map generators and only ~100 of the total 2500 product pages are showing up (which is consistent with the amount of indexed pages when I enter site:www.ellabellakids.com.
I know that I have a lot of SEO work to do with our site, but I want to be able to verify that my web designer didn't mess something up that would cause google to not be able to see or index our pages. I appreciate any help or advice that you could provide me.
Best regards,
Jacob Wolbach

hello dear sir,
you just need to read the do URL rewriting and the design should be simple and easily navigated.

I'm sorry... I'm not sure what you mean. I'm sure that it is just my naivety towards this new medium. Could you expand a little so that I could understand? Thank you for posting .... I really appreciate it.

Hi Jacob, and welcome to SEW Forums. That is a gorgeous site, you have some wonderful products there!
If it's a brand new site, it'll take a while to rank with Google (most all new sites do) but you should be able to get indexed, and get rankings at Yahoo and MSN much sooner.
Sure it needs some optimization, and some good inbound links - most new sites do unless they've been optimized from the ground up, and yours should convert very nicely once you've got some traffic coming in. For the site map, have you tried Google's?
Google Sitemaps (https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/about.html)
Salman, it's a Yahoo store and the design and the tech with those are somewhat different than with other types of hosting.
Jacob, Google will get there and it looks like you've got 76 pages indexed now, so far:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3AEllabellaKids.com&btnG=Google+Search
There are 118 pages indexed at MSN (and more will come):
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=site%3AEllabellaKids.com&FORM=QBHP
And you have 1,350 pages indexed at Yahoo, so the site is crawlable:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=slv8-&p=site%3aEllabellaKids.com
Google is taking their time now, they aren't as fast as they used to be - a lot of sites are experiencing a *lack* of pages indexed at Google now, so don't worry about it. It also depends on which of their data centers you happen to be accessing how many pages seem to be indexed. But it is spiderable, and the URLs are fine - very normal for a Yahoo store, and they can do well. :)

Have a look at the text-only cache of your pages, you may need to tweak your JS....

Unfortunately I know nothing about JS and hate side-scrolling code ;-)
