Recently, I discovered www.ning.com, and it is a cool service that allows you to clone and develop custom social applications from generic shells. I was wondering about developing some of these applications for tourism related sites.
For example:
Develop a visit and review site about activities in a city and put it on a site for a hotel in that same city? An example application -- for Southern Utah is at http://stgeorge.ning.com/.
What do y'all think? Would this help improve traffic and conservation rates as site visitors feel more involved in generating content for the site.
