Did you do anything to cause heart failure among your fellow co-workers today? If you did, good for you! Way to go out on a limb, and risk getting fired. :)
Here is what I did.
First a little background. I am the web guy. I do everything from SEM / SEO to databasing, to everything inbetween. (some things better than others of course), so I have complete control over the company extranet.
We use the extranet to run all aspects of our business, meaning that everyone has to login on a daily basis, first thing in the morning in order to do their job. Everything comes in through the extranet, orders, leads, billing, daily tasks, calendar, job assignments, customer billing, etc.
This morning when everyone logged in, they saw this:
http://www.nationwideshelving.com/april_fools/virus.php
I had people running down to my office all morning long in a panic. It was great. I would go to their office, and look at them, and give them a real hard time, that they had completely destroyed the server, I don't know what we are going to do, etc.
I have modified the version linked to above, so that you can get out of it. It is just based on sessions. If you want to watch it over, you have to close your browser window, to start a new session. The version I released to our employees was based on cookies, so that every time they went back to the extranet, it started right where it left off, until they watched the entire thing.
