So, I guess you're not going to read Mr. Perkin's white paper and comment, 4eyes? You'd rather just flame people and take their words out of context.
Seems to be typical of this thread and this forum in general. It's a shame, because this forum has the ability to attract people from all over the net, but by allowing flames to go unmoderated, it loses its credibility.
Why is it that when people complain about flames they flame other people in the process? Can't they do it a better way if they do not like it?

Fathom, How many times do you have to write the same scibble in the same thread? How many times do I have to answer your same scribble in the same thread?
Pathetic.
This thread is an attempt for spammers to "join" the rest of us. Trust me people, ya ain't gonna be included in our industry. You don't fit in and you never will fit in. Cheaters are........ well, cheaters!

I think your most recent post is.

I take pride in the fact that I not part of your group. Nothing personal there, I just do not need to mislead people to market my goods / services.
Cheaters are........ well, cheaters!
So longs as they put their clients interests ahead of the search engines that is all that matters.

Excuse me? Could you point my flame out, please?
Seobook, you don't find this thread riddled with personal attacks?
Guess I'm just a sensitive kind of guy then.

You're absolutely right in the sense that yes, this forum in general has the ability to attract people from all walks of the net and the ecommerce world - but we're also working under the assumption that most of those people are fairly mature professionals - who shouldn't NEED to be moderated or babysat like 4 year olds who can't play nicely in the sandbox together.
IMHO, it's those who reduce themselves to flaming that lose credibility, not the platform they're crying from.

I'd strongly disagree with that statement - spammers are already a big part of the industry. Some I consider to be great friends, just like my whitehat friends.
So longs as they put their clients interests ahead of the search engines that is all that matters.
I'd have to agree with that - if the client is getting what they want/need/bargained for - that IS the only thing that is important.
With that, I'm closing this thread. It's simply run its course & getting to the point of uselessness at this length, as the personal feelings get more intense. Take some time to cool off, think about how you've represented yourselves as a part of the industry - and if you all decide that we can have a professional discussion about our profession, then I'll consider allowing a Part II to go on.
