G'day, I am Wilksy. Wilksy was my nickname in school so I thought that would be appropriate.

Though i'd pop my head in the door and say hi!

I do almost strictly organic seo and have done so in one form or another since 96. Great to be amonst so many familiar names, hopefully I get to know a few more of you along the way. I've never really been much of a poster, but I am also a member of the usual forums under a few different nicks.

I regret that I never started posting and attending conferences etc. as I have always been too busy. Hopefully all that will change and I plan to stick my head in daily and confuse you all. ;)

I may have a position in one of Australia's larger travel companies, doing organic seo on a couple of their sites. This will be very interesting as I love Aussie travel, seo and affiliate marketing (hehe, a bit of a hint there..).

I've run my own business since Jan last year, doing mostly SEO consulting. But I'm currently considering all decent offers of SEO work within Australia to expand my skills and get into something exciting and fresh. On the side I also want to get more active in forums, increase my knowledge and meet some of the seo community along the way.

Cheers from Down Under,

Wilksy

Hi Ben

Good to see you here!

Woz & I are meeting up with some of the Melbourne guys on Friday night. We'll probably be up in Brissie in June. I'll keep you posted.

Chris

Great, cheers Chris!!

Might be re-locating to Sydney really soon, if I am not permitted to work remotely. I offered them the option of paying me less (would only get burnt on the cost of Sydney living) and staying up here. Hopefully they go for it. Find out sometime today. :)

Bleagh! Spit! Spit! Cough! Cough!

Marcia, Thankyou, but! (pause) the least you could have done was specificy someone female to pass on the kiss.

:D

someone female to pass on the kissWell, Frenchmen give each other double kisses on both cheeks. And then of course, there's the kind of kiss people can get from the Godfather

Naturally, I didn't mean that second kind of kiss. :)
