Saw this very interesting article slashdotted today.

A company is suing Google for a drop in rankings that--suprise--affected their revenue.

See Here (http://today.reuters.com/business/newsArticle.aspx?type=ousiv&storyID=2006-03-19T020938Z_01_KRA907614_RTRIDST_0_BUSINESSPRO-TECH-GOOGLE-LAWSUIT-DC.XML).

My thoughts: It's stupid. Google is a private company that can do what it wants. They have no requirement to index the site, Kinderstart, at all.

Yours?

If I won a million dollar lawsuit for every time Google screwed up my SERPS, I'd be rich :)

It really is a joke isn't it! I mean to say what exactly are they suing for? They have no contract with google, have paid nothing to them, and have only gained in the past from the FREE traffic that google has provided. 80% of their income according to the article. Talk about Myopic.
