A TV commercial for Pontiac aired last night during American Idol, expressing the features of their cars and ended by saying, "see for yourself, Google Pontiac."
So I did.
The banner ads they purchased for that search are all broken. Nice try, but terrible execution.
So I decided to "Yahoo Pontiac" and "MSN Pontiac", as well. The banner ads Pontiac purchased there are broken links also.
It makes me wonder, did Pontiac Google Pontiac? Did the ad agency that produced the commercial Google Pontiac?
What a wonderful waste of money. Just when I thought Pontiac "got it."
