Yahoo Sales Exec: 'Branded' Ad Sales Are Accelerating

Yahoo Inc.'s sales of graphical, or "branded," advertisements are accelerating, as big name-brand companies warm to the Internet as an attractive place to pitch consumers.
Speaking at an investor conference hosted by Pacific Crest on Monday that was broadcast on the Internet, Yahoo Chief Sales Officer Wenda Harris Millard, who oversees branded-advertising sales in North America, said: "I think you'll see us do a lot better than...the 35%" growth rate that some analysts have predicted.
